One way in which Cadillac has found its way into modern pop culture is in the name of a band called The Cadillac Three. The group has been making some waves with their unique musical aesthetic that straddles the line between rowdy country music and rebellious hard rock. As their website points out, they might be the only artists out there who can comfortably share a lineup with Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban one night, then Metallica and Slayer the next.
You might notice that the musicians referenced above also belong to different generations. So how old are the Cadillac Three?

As of 2020, the members of the Cadillac Three are all around 40 years old, while the band of which they’re a part formed in its first incarnation in 2005.
How old is each member of The Cadillac Three?
The only member’s age that we know for sure is that of lead singer and guitarist Jaren Johnson, who was born on October 4, 1980. As of this writing, he is almost 40. The members of The Cadillac Three were high school buddies, so we’ve deduced that each is likely about that same age.

In addition to Johnston, who plays guitar and sings lead, The Cadillac Three consists of Kelby Ray on bass and steel guitar, and Neil Mason on drums. Mason and Ray also provide vocals.

What’s the story of the band?
When the members that make up The Cadillac Three first formed a band in 2005, the group was known as Bang Bang Bang. They signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 2006, at which time they changed their name (for the first, but not the last, time) to American Bang. American Bang heavily toured the U.S. until they were dropped from the label in 2010.
In 2011, the three members regrouped as The Cadillac Black. In 2013, they changed their name for the final (for now) time to The Cadillac Three and signed a record deal with Big Machine Label Group.
The Cadillac Three released their debut album in 2012. As of this writing, the band has released four albums, with the latest being titled “Country Fuzz.”
