Chevrolet has been building tough and dependable trucks for 100 years and the 2019 Silverado embodies everything that has made Chevy trucks so reliable for so long. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is loaded with real-world performance and style, not only is the 2019 Chevy Silverado going to help you get the job done you are going to get it done with class and comfort.  Implementing a mixed materials strategy, engineers added more passenger and cargo capability while decreasing the overall weight of the 2019 Silverado. Along with the reduction in weight, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado also has a longer and wider wheelbase for a more responsive and agile driving experience. All of these improvements may have you ready to trade-in your old truck today, but the 2019 Chevy Silverado’s release date isn’t until later this year, but you can get a sneak peek at its specs and features right here.
Specs & Features
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado will be available in eight trim levels, the Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trailboss (new for 2019), LT, RST (new for 2019), LT Trailboss (new for 2019), LTZ, and High Country. These eight trim levels allow truck customers to choose the features that fit their specific needs but no matter the trim level the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado provides everyday performance and capability. With six engine and transmission combinations, the 2019 Silverado is highlighted by a 3.0L Inline Duramax Diesel engine pairing with a 10-Speed Automatic Transmission with Start/Stop technology to deliver the optimal blend of brute strength and fuel efficiency.
Weighing 450 pounds lighter than last year’s model, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado still boasts Best-In-Class Cargo Volume. Every bed length the 2019 Silverado offers has more overall cargo volume than its competitors and its short box can fit an impressive 63 cubic feet of cargo. Chevy accomplished all of this by using light-weight, high-strength steel, a mixed materials strategy, and even by upgrading to a forged-aluminum front suspension. Production of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado will begin in Fort Wayne, IN soon and customers can expect this gem to arrive at dealerships in the fall of 2018.
