While there are five trim levels of the 2019 XT5, there are two engines available under the hood. The Base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum models all come with a 304-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine. That amount of horsepower is sure to give any driver a thrill, but there is one even more powerful option for those who want to maximize their performance. The top trim, the V-Sport Platinum, features a twin turbo 3.6-liter V-6 engine powered by 410 horses. This engine certainly separates itself from anything else in the class and drivers will be ecstatic to drive it. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are both available on the bottom four trims, while the V-Sport Platinum only comes with all-wheel drive.

2019 Cadillac XT5 fuel economy
Now you may be wondering how efficient the XT5 can be. That depends on the engine you go with. The standard engine contributes to up to 28 highway mpg, 19 city mpg, and 22 combined mpg. If you want to get the most power out of your engine by opting for the V-Sport Platinum, you will take a hit to your fuel economy.
