The fifth installment of the all original Mile of Music (MoM) festival in Appleton Wisconsin is set to kick off Thursday August 3rd 2017. Spanning four days MoM is an all-day all-star lineup of musicians that stretches the entire length of downtown Appleton’s College Avenue. With a collection of the best bands that recently played Summerfest and Lollapalooza right before making their way to Appleton for MoM 2017.Plenty of lodging is available right on College Avenue or within a short walk or Uber ride from the center of the action. This an all original music event that is also free, that’s right, there is no cover charge or ticketing for 99% of the shows. Only a select handful of shows have tickets for sale or are exclusively for Music Maker contributors. Plan to stay the weekend or just a day and you won’t be disappointed you made the trip. Many shows are outdoors and are family friendly also, so bring the whole family.
